Underwater Photography

One January 18th we were given a presentation by Nicholas Moore on his passion for underwater photography
After explaining the various bits of specialist kit he uses we were shown many of his stunning images which were mostly taken at extreme close up and were expertly lit to bring out the colour and detail of the underwater wildlife.
He has won a number of awards for his photography and you have a chance to vote for his image which is part of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition
Use this link and his image is above this article:  https://www.nhm.ac.uk/wpy/peoples-choice

Club Social Evening

Last Wednesday club members enjoyed their annual social evening at the Red Lion in Huncote
We started with a quiz which took us all back to childhood recalling old adverts, panto characters and xmas songs This was followed by the usual excellent hot buffet provided by the Red Lion and then to work it off we had a game of long-alley skittles.

A very enjoyable evening and thanks go to John Langham for organising it and providing the quiz.
